ART Icons, Mango Series

Years ago, I received a statue as a gift from a monk in a temple in Asia and I took this beautiful statue back home. Since that time, this lady has been in my apartment and when I look at her, I always remember the beautiful encounter and conversation with the friendly monk. For the Mango Art Festival 2023, I bring this statue back as pieces of art. An unconventional symbiosis of spirituality, modernity and a tribute to femininity and kindness in Asia.
